Media Center Resources
Branch Out
School media centers in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) are full of great resources for students. Thanks to a partnership between GCPS and the Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL), the Branch Out! program provides access to even more resources for all GCPS students who opt in to the program!
With Branch Out!, a student’s school ID doubles as a GCPL library card, giving access to the extensive print and digital resources of the county library system at any one of 15 branches around Gwinnett and online. Even better, county library fines for overdue books and materials are a thing of the past for Branch Out! participants.
Students who opted into the program last school year can continue to use their Branch Out! account.

Readers Rally
Readers Rally Book Club for fourth or fifth grade who love to read.
Between meetings you will be expected to read, read, read! Being a part of this book club requires students to read one book each week outside of the assigned of school reading. Students read selected books from our pre-determined list (book list attached) and answer questions about these books. We can read picture books together at meetings, but you will need to read novels on your own. For each book you read, you will need to write 10 questions. Full participation is expected of every member.
This book club aims to raise members as readers, gain an appreciation for good books, and discuss books with peers. An added opportunity to this Book Club comes in February at the Gwinnett County Readers Rally. Readers Rally is a reading quiz bowl-style competition. Each Gwinnett County School may send one team of ten players or less to the Readers Rally Event in February.
The Readers Rally competition will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025. If you plan on joining the Readers Rally, then you must keep this day open.
Meeting Dates and Times: TBD
